EPIC Lab aims to understand and engineer electrochemical interfaces by bridging chemistry, mechanics, and processing,
advancing next-generation energy storage technologies.

Electrochemical Interface Engineering

We focus on controlling interfacial phenomena in batteries through integrated approaches spanning electrolyte chemistry, system mechanics, and surface engineering. Electrochemical interfaces govern the performance, safety, and lifetime of energy storage systems, and our goal is to understand and control interphase formation and evolution, providing a unified framework for engineering electrochemical interfaces across energy storage technologies.
